The Phillips Collection is the place that reminds me of the friends I’ve made at Georgetown. Though it was chilly out, I had a fantastic time with my two friends and the Georgetown Arts Aficionado club. As usual, I perused the gift shop and went home with two books that I still treasure today (Design is Storytelling by Ellen Lupton and 100 Secrets of the Art World: Everything You Always Wanted to Know from Artists, Collectors, and Curators, but Were Afraid to Ask). The one thing I missed was the beeswax room, but all that means is that I’m guaranteed to return!
