Dumbarton Oaks is a true hidden gem. Within walking distance of Georgetown, many of my museum classes have chosen to bring my class and me here for field trips. My first visit was with my Introduction to Museum Studies class, which has been one of my favorite parts of Georgetown and why I’m a little sad to go. Being able to venture beyond the velvet ropes and walk among the historical rooms with my classmates is an experience I’ll never forget.
