Truth be told, the United States Postal Museum sounded a little boring; but my mom desperately wanted to go and I wanted to make her happy. Now, it’s one of my favorite museums simply because of her. Sometimes, the things we do aren’t personally interesting to us, but because my parents both collect stamps, I felt a connection to my loved ones through this museum. That’s the power of museums that often goes unnoticed: its ability to bring people together and strengthen relationships.
